Thank you for visiting this little corner of the internet, where I get to gush about my favorite things. I’m Melissa- artist, visual story teller, and founder of Brick + Brass Design Co.

This studio was born from a dream I couldn’t shake- one shaped by a lifelong obsession with furniture, time periods, color, and texture. I’ve always had an intuitive eye for design, and it’s guided me in every chapter of my life.

I started design school with big plans, but life had other ideas- triplets, to be exact. That detour led me into a thriving career in makeup and hair, where I spent years honing my sense of color, light, and detail in an entirely new dimension. Eventually, I found my way back to interiors through real estate, staging, and flipping homes- and that’s when Brick + Brass came alive.

This studio isn’t about perfection or passing trends. It’s about character. Heart. Soul. I create thoughtful, deeply personal spaces that feel like they’ve always belonged to you. Every home tells a story- and it’s my joy, and my gift, to help you tell yours.
